The Printed Trouser

The Printed Trouser

This has got to be my favorite article of clothing for the past, ehh... year. They're fun, effortless and best of all COMFORTABLE! I wear them to work all the time. The pattern's add that little pizazz to the outfit, even though, I usually pair them with a solid top. I'm not a big fan of the pattern on top of pattern on top of pattern look. That ish makes me dizzy.
They're a great option for spring or summer and can be found at really affordable prices.
Check out JCPenny.com  Forever21.com for some really nice options.

New Year, New Sneakers

Happy New Year!

I know its about two weeks into the year, but as you can see, I've been seriously MIA from the blogging world. Either way, I hope you've had a wonderful start to 2015.

And speaking of new year, January is the month where you set your goals for the coming year. Sometimes, these goals include improving your physical health. You aim to have better eating habits, shed those newly acquired holiday pounds, or simply maintain your current routine.

However, beginning of a clean eating regimen or the first few weeks at the gym can be a sore, literally. So, to motivate myself to go to the gym, I buy cute Gym clothes. I figure, I bought it, I better use it. In my wish list for gym articles are a sweet pair of sneaks from the collaboration between Kate Spade Saturday and New Balance. Kate spade, known for its preppy and colorful line will release 4 pairs of training sneakers with New Balance.

“Our partnership with New Balance blends the best of our brand—easy, fun vibes—with New Balance’s strong reputation for leading performance technology,” said Kate Spade Saturday Senior Vice President and Brand Director, Kyle Andrew. “The end result of this collaboration is a collection made for living the Saturday lifestyle, seven days a week.”

The sneakers, WX711 and WX811, will come in some really neat patterns and prints. They will retail for $95 and will be available on February 1st at  NewBalance.com, Saturday.com, select New Balance stores, and select Kate Spade Saturday stores.

Check out the Sneakers below. Which is your Fave?

Xo,

Lust v Must : Leather Booties

Lust v Must : Leather Booties

I've been on the hunt for a pair of black leather booties that aren't tooooo Fall-ish and not tooooo Summer-ish. Since I live in Miami, I wanted something I could transfer from season to season with out looking ridic.

So, while Insta- stalking for NYFW photos and fashion inspiration, I came across a blogger wearing the Vince booties. Found them and bammm.. a whopping $ 450.00. Definitely out of mommas budget. So I continued to search for booties, leather booties, peep toe booties (any combination that might get me a similar style) and BAMMM (a good BAMMM this time) Nine West came through with the "Tiiptoe" black leather booties, which, I actually like better (no, not just cause of the price tag) than the Vince booties. They also come in dark brown leather and a dark grey leather.

Any whoo, I was stoked with my find and wanted to share. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

XoXo,

Jess

Kimono YES! Please

Kimono YES! Please

As of late, my fashion obsession has been the Kimono jacket (Not the traditional Japanese Kimono).
These trendy and comfy tops tend to be sheer, flowy and cardigan-ish like.
They are super versatile, making them perfect for day or night.
I usually pair them with skinny jeans or distressed shorts and have used them as beach cover ups, but you can wear them with practically anything.

How do you like to style your Kimonos?

Here are some looks I love.

Our Wedding May 31st, 2014

After 10 years of dating, several places which we called home and best of all, our son Maxon, Ronald and I tied the knot. Ronnie and I planned the wedding (it was SUPER stressful) and with the help of our amazing family and friends, our day came to life. I cant thank all of you enough for helping us carry out our vision. Our goal was to have a little tradition, but A LOT of fun. I think i speak for all the guests, especially those that lasted till 3am, that we succeeded at that. We partied like damn ROCK STARS. Our wedding was exactly what we dreamed of and more. We were surrounded by those who matter to us, those who support us and those who have been there through this roller-coaster of a ride; our Family & close friends.
We love you all, more than words could ever say.

And so, I share a few pictures that I received from friends.
(Thank you Frank, Deeg, Rudy & Sophia for taking amazing pictures)
