Before I start, I want to thank Target for all the Designer collaborations that have allowed little ol me to afford designer pieces. My favorite was always the Missoni collection but here come Phillip Lim with his AMAZINGNESS and Wham... Hasta la vista Missoni.

 

This collection is so chic and sophisticated. I love 90% of the pieces. The 10% being the Boom sweaters. The collection will feature men's and women's clothing, shoes and purses. Prices for apparel will vary from $ 19.99 - $ 299.99 and for accessories $ 19.99 - $ 59.99. The color palette is beautiful, including lots of Midnight blue, Black, Neutrals and some pop's of Green.

My favorite item of the collection is the Pashli look alike satchel. Since I cannot afford the $ 800+ price tag for the Pashli, you better believe that I am going to fight tooth and nail for the one included in this collection (Pictured below).

Sweater Season?

Every year I tell myself that I will not buy another sweater for the Winter season.

Being that I live in Miami and Winter in Miami consists of a light cardigan (That you end up taking off by noon), jean's and a cute pair of sandals, it makes no sense to spend money on sweaters that you'll most likely never wear (guilty). Then I log into Forever21 and I seem to come down with the craziest case of memory loss. Just like that, my cart begins to fill up. Sighhh. There are so many adorable options and all at such great prices. All the ones I listed and linked above are under $ 30.00. Numbers 5 & 6 are already in my cart and I'm debating whether or not to eat lunch the rest of the week in order to pick up number 8 as well.

A Chunky High Heel.

When this style began making its way back into the fashion world, I was thrilled.

A chunky high heel allows me to be feminine, fashionable and a speed racer all at once without the danger of falling and breaking my neck. See, when you are constantly running after a three year old, stilettos become nearly impossible to wear. Now, don’t get me wrong ladies, I do love a sexy pair of stilettos once in a while, but I’ll be saving those for date nights. Balance is key for this fashion lovin momma.

Midtown Afternoon
